The application must be submitted to ACCORD in writing (by post or fax). The proceedings shall be deemed to be initiated from the time the application is received by ACCORD and the application fee is received. In case of an advance transmission by email, a suspension of the statute of limitations may not occur (depending on the applicable law).

Further documents for the presentation and explanation of the facts (documents and attachments to the application) are to be submitted by email in a commonly used data format.
